Today we are welcoming E.B. Black to Riverina Romantics. Please make her feel welcome. Please tell our followers a little about yourself. What is a typical day in the life of ‘you’?
Writing, cleaning, cooking, pet the dogs, realizing I need to interact with people that aren't in my books or on just the internet, go to sleep, and then repeat the next day.
Do you have a current work in progress? If so, can you tell us a little about it?
I have several, but the most important one is a prequel I am writing for my Death of Eros Series. It's also a romantic retelling of a Greek myth: Pandora's Box. It's title will probably be Pandora's Mistake and when I release it, it will be available on Amazon for free.
What has been the hardest emotionally or time consuming thing you’ve had to research for one of your stories?
I wrote a story about necromancers before I wrote Medusa's Desire. I had to research ghosts and the stages of a decaying body. I was so scared of finding pictures of these things and was somewhat disturbed by some of the descriptions.
Have any of your characters resembled people in real life?
Yes, in Medusa's Desire. Although they're not identical, Perseus' love for his mother is very similar to my boyfriend's love for his own mother. Some of their mannerisms are similar as well. Some of Medusa's insecurities resemble my own as well.
Do you read reviews of your books? If so, do you pay attention to them enough to influence your writing?
I haven't had a lot of them yet, but I know I will read reviews for my books and I know they will influence me. If plot holes are found, I could see myself revising a novel.
