With FROM THIS MOMENT
ON, bestselling author Bella Andre introduces you to Marcus, the second
Sullivan bad boy, whose life will never be the same from the moment he
meets Nicola….
For thirty-six years, Marcus Sullivan has been the responsible older brother, stepping in to take care of his seven siblings after their father died when they were children. But when the perfectly ordered future he's planned for himself turns out to be nothing but a lie, Marcus needs one reckless night to shake free from it all.
Nicola Harding is known throughout the world by only one name - Nico - for her catchy, sensual pop songs. Only, what no one knows about the twenty-five year old singer is that her sex-kitten image is totally false. After a terrible betrayal by a man who loved fame far more than he ever loved her, she vows not to let anyone else get close enough to find out who she really is...or hurt her again. Especially not the gorgeous stranger she meets at a nightclub, even though the hunger - and the sinful promises - in his dark eyes make her want to spill all her secrets.
One night is all Nicola and Marcus agree to share with each other. But nothing goes as they plan when instead of simply tangling limbs, they find a deeper connection than either of them could have anticipated. And even though they both try to fight it, growing emotions - and sizzling attraction - keep drawing them closer together.
Close enough for them to wonder if stealing one more secret moment together can ever be enough?

Gee. Golly. Gosh.
A Rich businessman and a famous pop singer. Would would have thought those two people would find themselves uncontrollably attracted to each other? *raises hand* I certainly did!
Although they seem like they are on two completely different sides of the spectrum, if you really think about it, they're not. Both are rich and well known, only one is always in the limelight and the other does his business behind closed doors. Ok, so maybe there is a little bit of a spectrum difference, but who the hell cares? They burn up the pages!
I absolutely loved Nicola. Being 25 years old and a famous singer, she has a surprisingly level-headedness to her that makes her very enjoyable. Yes, she's famous. Yes, she's rich. But nothing seems to fill her ego to the point of wanting to slap the brains out of her. She writes her own music, she takes every aspect of her career to heart, and above all she loves her fans. She seems a little lost at the beginning of this book, trying to rediscover herself and reestablish who she is. This journey of self-discovery of course leads her to her hero and our leading man. From the moment they meet, you can tell that their relationship is going to be different. Not only was it interesting, but it felt almost innocent--the age difference begin a small factor for our dear lovely Marcus. But like all good things, that soon ceases to matter and the tornado of a passionate relationship quickly sweeps them up.
I'm really pleased with how Ms. Andre handled the age issue that she presents us with. Marcus is the oldest of the Sullivan clan, being in his early 30s, with Nicola coming in at a lower 25. Although this little tidbit of information came up a bit, I found myself easily forgetting about it. Because of that, those incredibly hot and passionate hanky panky sessions were smoldering and exhilarating. Their attraction was very clearly undeniable. Then again, 'm not sure I'd want to try to deny someone like Marcus. He was incredibly attentive and focused on pleasing Nicola, which is turn made things get so much hotter. It was like the heat kept getting turned up and there was no way to stop it until total and utter completion had been met. That's my kind of passion!
And Marcus? Oh, Marcus. You poor, lovely man. Why would you ever think that you could resist true love when it walked right up to you in a hot leather dress? So cute. But the way he handled Nicola, from the moment they met and every moment after, was nothing but tender and lust. He really came out and showed her how much he liked her, and even when she tried to put the restrictions of her career between them, although he didn't like it, he didn't let it affect their relationship. Sure, fights were hand. Stupid things were said. What relationship doesn't have things like that happen? What matters is in the end, he proved his love to her and they embraced the passion that had always been between them. They changed each other for the better, and they made ach other the peopel that had forgetten were inside them.
I enjoyed this book much more than the first. Can't wait to dive in to Gabe's story. Yum!

I loved her firefighters series, and have some of her other books on my shelves already. Looking forward to reading more by her.
