Snowbound Love Blog Hop



Don't you just love the snow? Those heavy storms where you can curl up in front of the fire with a good book or maybe some gorgeous man? If I could snuggle with any book character in front of a nice cozy fire I think I'd like Bones from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress World. That man is yummilicious!

So how 'bout you? What book character would  you want to snuggle with?

The Winter Lodge

On the longest night of the year, Jenny Majesky loses everything in a devastating house fire. But among the ashes she finds an unusual treasure hidden amid her grandfather's belongings, one that starts her on a search for the truth, and on a path toward a life that she never imagined. The Winter Lodge, a remote cabin owned by her half sister on the shores of Willow Lake, becomes a safe refuge for Jenny, where she and local police chief Rourke McKnight try to sort out the mysteries revealed by the fire.

But when a blizzard traps them together, Jenny, accustomed to the safe predictability of running the family bakery, suddenly doesn't feel so secure. For even as Rourke shelters her from the storm outside, she knows her heart is at risk. Now, following her dreams might mean walking away from her one chance at love.


The prize for this giveaway is a PB copy of The Winter Lodge. I've read two books in the Lakeshore Chronicles and I really liked them. I bet this one is just as good!

  1. It's hard to say. A lot of fictional characters would be fun to be snowed in with. If I have to pick one, though, it would have to be Rourke. :)

    2. And so many other things. :) I tend to crush on whoever I'm reading at the time and then often forget all about them when I'm finished with the book. But I always, always remember Rourke!

  15. Who would I like to curl up with on a cold, snowy night? This is hard! Rick, fron Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series, or maybe one of those hot Brothers, from JR Ward's Blackdagger Brotherhood series. ;-)

    1. Carly, you can find Roarke in JD Robb's (Nora Roberts) In Death series. And you can get a lot of him. The series has 37 books! :D
