Holy Hotness!! You may need a fire extinguisher after you finish this book! I knew when we decided to do this event that I wanted to read one of Jayne’s books and since it was Christmas I decided on this one. Yes I freely admit I’m a bit cheesy, but it was an excellent choice. This book was extremely hot but for those of you who like some plot with their sex this book might not be your best choice. It is erotica which means it focuses mostly on the sex and since Star is a sex worker so sex is kinda her thing.
Star is the main character and Rick has been her client for years. They have a very good working relationship. I like that she seems to trust him and that he has respect for her. He actually wants to date her. He never treats her like a whore which makes him very likable as the main male character. The sex they have is explosive and extremely hot. She is literally the star of the show. She lights it all up! This is book that will help you get into the holiday mood and the “mood.”
The biggest drawback for me was the length. I wanted more. It is very quick but so enjoyable. Especially the ending. The gift Star gives Rick at the end is so sweet.
